Since the German government appointed the German Federal Network Agency (BNetzA) as trustee for Gazprom Germania GmbH, now SEFE Securing Energy for Europe GmbH (SEFE), the priority has been to stabilise SEFE and its subsidiaries. As part of this, the German government recently announced an extension of the trusteeship, along with a KfW loan.
We are now proud to be part of the SEFE Group, and with this, we are pleased to share that Gazprom Marketing & Trading Retail Limited (trading as Gazprom Energy) will soon change its name, along with other Gazprom-named subsidiaries in the SEFE Group.
While we see this name change as significant and a very welcome indication that we are entering a new chapter, there will be minimal to no impact on our customers. Existing customer agreements will not be affected in any way and of course their energy supply will not be interrupted or disrupted. We are committed to delivering excellent service to customers and making this transition as seamless as possible.
We will contact all customers, vendors and other stakeholders once our company name has changed, providing further information where necessary. In the meantime, we would like to thank everyone who has continued to show their support and understanding over the past few months.
