We began our journey in the UK as an ambitious, independent gas supplier in the North West of England, originally known as Pennine Gas. Our company has been built on great relationships, a passion for growth and excellent customer service.

Since then, we’ve grown from employing a handful of people and supplying less than a hundred customers to becoming one of the UK’s leading non-domestic energy suppliers.

Over the years, we expanded to locations in France and the Netherlands, and most recently, we’ve come together with SEFE’s supply operations in Germany to become one united SEFE sales organisation. Together as SEFE, we supply over 50,000 customers with gas, electricity and low carbon energy products in Europe.

The global energy market is facing big challenges: ensuring security of energy supply and transitioning to green energy.

To solve these challenges in a collective effort, we’re uniting all our energy at SEFE – as one integrated SEFE business spanning activities along the energy value chain, from sourcing and trading to transport, storage and sales. The blue colour reflects our reputation as a trusted and reliable partner that fulfils its promises across society. The green stands for our aspiration of renewal and growth.

• We’re part of the SEFE group, led by SEFE Securing Energy for Europe (“SEFE”) in Berlin.
• Together with our counterparts in France, the Netherlands and Germany, we form the sales arm of SEFE.
• All the gas and electricity we supply to our customers is bought on the wholesale market through our parent company SEFE Marketing & Trading Ltd, which is headquartered in London.
• The gas we buy on the wholesale market comes from a variety of sources and countries including Norway and Qatar.

• SEFE employees over 1,500 colleagues, representing 50 nationalities worldwide. SEFE Energy’s UK headquarters in Manchester is home to over 300 employees.
