SEFE Energy Reclaims the UK's Top Spot for Non-Domestic Gas Supply

We’re proud to share some exciting news: SEFE Energy has once again become the UK’s largest non‑domestic gas supplier by volume. 

According to the latest Cornwall Insight market share report, SEFE Energy has reclaimed the number one position for the first time since April 2021. With a total market share of 27.4%, we have returned to the top spot after more than four years. 
 
This milestone marks a significant step forward for SEFE Energy, and reflects the trust our customers place in us to support their energy needs in a complex and evolving market. 

Our return to the top comes during a period of notable change across the UK gas market. Overall non‑domestic gas volume declined by 320 million therms compared to the previous reporting period in April 2025, underlining the continued pressure and volatility facing the sector. 

Against this backdrop, SEFE Energy achieved growth of 40 million therms, strengthening our position and increasing our market share by 5.8 percentage points since we last held the top spot in April 2021, when our share stood at 21.6%. 

While we weren’t the only supplier to see movement in the latest report, the scale and consistency of our progress sets us apart. 

Our position enables us to:
