Where we started

We began our journey as an ambitious, independent gas supplier in the North West of England, originally known as Pennine Gas, then Gazprom Energy and now SEFE Energy. Our company has been built on great relationships and a passion for growth and excellent customer service.

Over the past 17 years we've continuously developed our products to reach more customers. We grew from employing a handful of people and suppling less than a hundred customers to become one of Britain’s leading non-domestic energy suppliers. 

We now supply over 50,000 organisations with the energy they need to provide their products and services used by millions of people across Britain, France and the Netherlands.  

We are part of the SEFE Group – led by SEFE Securing Energy for Europe GmbH in Berlin – which employs approximately 1,500 employees. Our parent company is SEFE Marketing and Trading Limited.

Our name may have changed, but our original ethos stands strong: constantly improve our service and offer some of the most competitive fixed and flexible gas and electricity contracts on the market so our new and existing customers always pay a fair price for their energy.
